  • Ebenezer Somiah, Program Coordinator, Accra

  • Moro Musa, Lead Trainer, Accra

    Moro has been working with VBP since 2003. In 2012 he was made a lead instructor and has helped develop and refine the One Day Workshop curriculum. When not traveling to workshops, More can working at his shop or on his onion farm. He is originally from Garu-Tempane in the Upper East region of Ghana but currently lives in Accra with his wife and children.

  • Abokyi Samadu, Lead Trainer, Accra

    Abokyi joined the VBP team in 2002 as a trainee instructor. In 2012 he was made the lead instructor and in 2013 he consigned his first container of bicycles. Abokyi is responsible for all VBP’s local market purchases and preparing our Advance Class tools sales. He is originally from Yendi in the Norther Region of Ghana and when he’s not teaching workshops, he lives in Accra with his wife and 3 children.

  • Samson "Akapo" Tuffour, Lead Trainer, Asueyi

    Akapo joined the team in June 2012. Before becoming a VBP instructor, he helped to host a One Day Workshop in his home village in the Brong Ahafo Region. Akapo is a skilled mechanic and can quickly turn his hand to any machine in need of repair. He lives in Asueyi with his wife and children.

  • Abdul Fatawu Iddrisu, Learn to RIde Program Coordinator, Techiman

    Abdul joined VBP as a trainer in February 2013. He is originally from the Northern Region of Ghana but moved to Techiman 18 years ago. In 2001, he opened a bicycle repair shop in Techiman. Abdul is our lead Learn to Ride instructor and is also responsible for gathering program reports and photos for VBP programs. He lives in Techiman with his wife and four children.

  • Prosper Dzandu, Dodowa

    Prosper joined the team in August 2013 after collaborating on a project with VBP in 2010. Originally from the Volta Region, Prosper is a talented Kente weaver and bicycle mechanic. When not traveling to programs, Prosper manages our warehouse inventory and works in his own shop. He currently lives with his wife and 5 children in Dodowa, Ghana.

  • Dauda Isseku, Kasoa

    Dauda is from the Northern Region of Ghana and joined VBP in August 2014. He moved to Accra 20 years ago and his first job in the city was as a bicycle mechanic in the Tudu bicycle market in Central Accra. When he’s not working in his shop or traveling with VBP, Dauda can be found spending time with his wife and four children.

  • Abdul Rahim Haruna, Accra

    Rahim is one of our newest members, having joined VBP as a trainer in May 2014. Being a bicycle mechanic runs in Rahim’s blood as 20 members of his extended family work in the field. Rahim is from the Garu-Tempane district in the Upper East Region of Ghana but moved to Accra in 2011 with his wife and two sons.
